My very own DIY Super Mario Themed Party.

 

Everything u seen here are DIY by me except for the food itself, balloons, table cloth and tissue/napkin.

This is a hit when I had my son 3^rd and daughter 1^st birthday party last year. They share the same birthday but 2 years apart so I have to think of a theme that works for the two of them. Think many parents of my age can relate to Super Mario so decided to go ahead with it. Especially there are many fun things that involve in this very popular game. We booked a chalet at Changi and I had been preparing for this for a very long time.

 

Let me start from the Super Mario backdrop/ scene setting, this is one of the biggest craft that I’ve done. Being said so, it is also very compact as it comprises of 9 separate panels. The cutest features are the ?-blocks, there are Mario power items hidden inside that can actually pop up with the push of the lever from the bottom. I specially design this and make it the first interactive backdrop. Think I will be designing more of such scene setting after this as it is so much fun. Super like the idea of pop-up card and books to incorporate into a backdrop.

 

 

Not forgetting the cloud banner place right above the backdrop.

 

 

My guests have so much fun pretending to be a Super Mario, Luigi or Princess peach with the props I made too.  The props that I made are:

- Super Mario & Luigi Hat, Princess Peach Tiara and Mustache Strew.

 

I’ve also made some Mario Power Temporary Tattoo for the children… emm and maybe the adults. Tsk Tsk

 

I also have gifts for all guests who attended the party, a Mario figurine inside each of these diy-question marks box.

 

- Yoshi Lollipop. Design all the candy warping for this dessert table, the greatest hit is the cute Yoshi Lollipop. Even the back is design accordingly. How can you not like Yoshi, it is so green and cute. 

 

 

- Prianha Fire Flower Pot with M&Ms.
 

- Bullet Bill Tic Tac. Super mini size tic tac and Lakitu Marshmallow

Before the party, I’ve also design an e-invite for all my guests and it was send through whatsapp. It was so much easier compare the traditional hard copy cards.

By the way, I am a stay-at-home-mum, I sells frozen dessert at a very low rate as it is imported directly. Don't worry, our products are NEA approved and certified Halal. Our best seller is our ice cream éclairs, you can see from all our likes on Facebook. Is like what you usually eat during a catering buffet but so much more worthy to buy from us. Caterer sells at $1.70 for 2 pieces but we are selling it at only $4 for 12 pieces ($0.33/pieces).
